Spirit 4K vs. Director 10K

Scan comparison between the Spirit 4K and the Director 10K demonstrating warped film tolerance of a 1940's era 35mm nitrate film. Notice the ripple effect on the Spirit 4K scan which is caused by speed variation due to the warped film being driven by the capstan. The Director 10K is immune to this problem because the film is held flat on 4 sides with a pressure plate.
